We were all gathered at Julies house. Visitors from all walk gathered to this social event; Joshua Romero from OFA; Organizing for America was present to share the latest as well as those that are involved with the local non partisan race stopped by. All in all, there was delicious food, stimulating conversation shared with an AWESOME bunch of people.

State Representative, Darren Soto was in Lakeside Park for a day of family fun and activities. The weather was a challenge but it did not discourage those that were there. They waited out the rain but once it began, it began! There was plenty of Hot dogs, Snacks, Beverages and Snow cones to boot!  It was a Great Day!

Telemundo's " La Feria Del La Familia," a success! Many turned out for this event with many activities happening in one place,a little something for each family member, performers to see and most importantly many visitor's flocking to our table. Many participated on our survey to determine, Why Hispanics do not come out to vote? Many participated on this survey, which shows that our community wants more and to be involved.

Julee's House Party to celebrate Obama's 50th Birthday

It is a beautiful thing when people gather and share one vision. We happen to be both Democrats and Hispanic. I would venture to say that as Democrats our commitment to improve the future of our nation is standing on a strong foundation. That being said, we all gathered to celebrate Obama's 50th Birthday and also our OFA(Organizer For America) Field Director, Joshua Romero; celebrated his birthday as well.  It was both festive, enjoying great food, great company and informative. It left us all with inspiration about our coming future.

President of DHCF visited Osceola

of Florida. He presents the legal certificate of the Osceola Chapter Caucus to the elected president of this local chapter.

John Cortes, the first Vice-President of the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida. He was present and is actively participating in the election meeting assuring all decision making were according with the By-laws. John Cortes is also a active member of the OSCC-DHCF. 

The Democrats in the picture above are State and local active elected officers. 

Miguel L. Lopez and Jair Vargas, are the chairman of the nominating committee.

Armando Ramirez, Candidate for District 2; Osceola Commission and his wife Mildred were some of the active members present in the election meeting. The Osceola Chapter Caucus strongly supports Armando and wishes him the best in this election.
